Auxiliaries

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated offers membership in adult and youth auxiliaries. Delta Zeta Chapter has sponsored the Amicae of Charlotte for adults since 1978, and all three national youth affiliates: Pearlettes, Amicettes and Archonettes since 1982.

Amicae, also known as the “Friends of Zeta,” are women who do not possess a college degree, yet share the values of our organization and seek to partner with the chapter to make a positive impact on the community.  
Our youth programs provide mentorship for young girls, from ages 4 to 18, helping them achieve academic excellence, develop leadership skills, and strengthen their social and cultural awareness through targeted programs and community service.


Amicae

The purpose of the Amicae is to lend assistance to Zeta activities, promote goodwill between Zeta and community women, foster a connection for non-Greek women and the programming of the sorority, and ensure more community support and cooperation in Zeta activities.

Archonette

The Archonette program supports the academic and personal growth of promising 14 to 18 year old high school girls by providing a platform for their active participation in educational programs, community service projects, and social activities.

Pearlette

The Pearlette youth group emphasizes the development of key foundational skills, such leadership and teamwork, and helps reinforce the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood for girls between the ages of four (4) and eight (8).

The purpose of the Amicette program is to reinforce strong principles and foster an early focus upon academic achievement, personal development and community engagement for girls ages nine (9) to 13.
