Amicettes

 

 

Purpose: To support the cultural, social, leadership and educational growth of 9 to 13-year old elementary & middle school girls through hands-on participation in self-improvement activities and community service projects.

 

Membership: Invitation to membership is based on the applicant's interest in the goals and ideals of scholarship, sisterly love, and potential leadership in service to the community. An application and parent signature are required.

 

Meetings: Meet formally on the 2nd Sunday of each month, 4pm-6pm, from September - May. Informal meetings are generally held once a month.

 

Community Service

• YMCA Holiday angel tree
• Fighting Prematurity (March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon)
• Donating SCHOOL Supplies FOR a Child’s Place
• Presenting Black History play for a retirement community.
